At Adways, as countermeasures against ad fraud — which should never be counted as legitimate advertising results — we have introduced ad verification tools, scrutinize view-through conversions (conversions triggered by ad impressions) for each media outlet, implement whitelist (client-approved media list) delivery, and exclude view-through conversion media. We have also met the standards for brand safety and invalid traffic countermeasures, and have been certified as a quality-certified operator by JICDAQ (Japan Internet Certification for Digital Advertising Quality).
Introduction of Ad Verification Tools Ad Fraud Countermeasures
A comprehensive internet advertising risk management dashboard equipped with two types of list provision services: Web Unsafe List and Channel Safe List. It collects approximately 100 million URLs daily and can update in real time the URLs of sites deemed inappropriate or fraudulent based on screening criteria.
View-Through Media Screening Ad Fraud Countermeasures
Video CPI (Cost Per Install) and network-based menus may offer lower acquisition costs, but they carry the risk of ad fraud and attributing organic users via the ad.
