November 8, 2022 Adways Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, CEO: Sho Yamada, hereinafter referred to as Adways) announces that its subsidiary UNICORN Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, CEO: Sho Yamada, hereinafter referred to as UNICORN) has concluded a strategic agreement with Bidstack Limited (Head Office: United Kingdom, CEO: James Draper, hereinafter referred to as Bidstack), a gaming monetization and advertising platforms provider, for its Japanese operations.
Bidstack provides gaming monetization services and advertisement distribution platforms in Europe and the United States, offering in-game native ads that blend in with the gaming world and video ad distribution. By appropriately rendering the ads, viewers can enjoy how real and immersed the ads feel in the game.
In addition, Bidstack also provides services to major national clients in various industries including Apple, Budweiser, BMW, Coca-Cola, KFC, McDonald’s, and the WHO.
With the recent upswing in time and money spent on gaming, primarily in mobile games, it has become a global trend for brand advertisers to use in-game ads. In fact, the global in-game advertising market is forecast to grow by more than 19.5% from 2021 to 2027*.
Through this strategic agreement, UNICORN will be able to provide highly effective ads that maintain brand safety without disrupting users by utilizing Bidstack’s technology to deliver ads that do not interfere with gameplay.
