June 19, 2015 - Established in 2004, Chinese subsidiary of Adways Inc. (Head office: Shinjuku- Tokyo, CEO: Haruhisa Okamura), ADWAYS CHINA Co., Ltd (Head office: Shanghai, CEO: Yoichi Shimizu) announced a launch of ad serving system that can target Chinese visitors to Japan.
In 2014, the number of Chinese tourists traveling to Japan and travel expenditure by Chinese has grown to 2.41M users and JPY558.3B ($4.65B) respectively. As seen in this 200% year-on-year increase, there is a growing need for how to market services and products to those Chinese visitors.

Adways China developed ad serving system that can target Chinese visitors to Japan who use Chinese and Japanese language on their PC/mobile devices and who are accessing with Japan IP address. It also enables ad serving to those Chinese people “who are planning to visit to Japan”, “who are now visiting to Japan”, and “who had visited to Japan and went back to China” based on a huge amount of marketing data possessed by Chinese big carriers’ DMPs (Data Management Platform) that Adways China integrated with. Now the system is able to reach 2.2M users that accounts for more than 90% of total Chinese visitors who came to Japan in 2014.
In future, Adways China plans to work with Chinese visitors targeted medias and develop effective promotional products for Japanese companies, ad agencies and local government.
Adways China will continue to enhance support as a business partner of Japanese and foreign companies entering Chinese market.
